Not all ABS are the same. There are different kinds of ABS, and every company will prefer one over the other, depending on what they want to focus on.

There are mainly three different formats:

• The Script Format
• The Technical Format
• The Simple with Time Code Format

In the following lectures, we'll check each one more in-depth, but before we dive into each one, let's see all three types together, so we can start seeing the differences.

All of these samples reflect the same video clip, so we can focus on the differences in format.

Every time you're assigned an ABS, we recommend you use the sample provided as a template to ensure proper formatting (margins, spacing, font, etc.).
